⚡ COMIC STRIP
Comic strip requires a student to read between the lines, draw interpretations and synthesize the information. By interacting with both the text and images, student can easily comprehend and visualize the story. The more they do this, the easier and quicker they can build their reading comprehension skills.
🧰 WHAT STIDENTS WILL LEARN:
- To visualise the story paragraph by paragraph
- Introduce the character. Set the tone. Generate interest. Lead into the next paragraph
- Able to describe and narrate the events clearly.
- Able to build the suspense and make the reader feel excited, or worried, or nervous in the climax of the story.
- Use emotive words to put the readers on the edge
- Able to add dialogues to the visual character to understand the story better.
- Able to organize the story to flow smoothly and logically
- Able to think of several ideas deriving or connecting to the opening sentence in order to explain, expand, support or prove the opening sentence
